Work In Progress Pages

Welcome to my Work In Progress pages! Here you can follow the evolution from a simple Drawing or Painting to a finished, detailed Artwork! Thanks to the Work In Progress pages you are able to follow how the work is doing and you can ask questions and eventually make suggestions about the Pet Portrait as I'm painting it. See your friend get “born again” right on their computer screen. As I'm specializing in highly detailed artwork with high demands on personality and characteristics of your pet, these Work In Progress pages are of great value to me and to you as a client. These pages are the most popular location on my web site and updated frequently. More information about the Work In Progress pages can be found below...

When my customers pay for the Portrait they want to see their photo or mock-up on these pages as soon as possible. After that, they come to check the Work In Progress many times a day! Good thing they do that, because any extra help I get from them as the owner of the Pet can only make the Portrait better. I always like to have the customer AND the photograph as a guide throughout the process of my Artwork.

In case you have other wishes, no problem! Maybe your friend has already passed away and you don't have the perfect picture? Maybe you only have a picture where he was old already and want him to look younger? Don't worry, together we'll make him look young and full of life again and you'll have an ever lasting memory that will never fade! Of course this means that not all work will look exactly like the Photos on these pages however. This all depends on further information and wishes of the owner. Sometimes people ask me to paint dogs, cats or horses that already have passed away and they ask me to make him/her to look younger then on the photo.

I have three Work In Progress pages because I'm usually working on more then one Portrait at the same time. Oil Paintings have to dry for a day before I can add more detail, meanwhile I can work on other Portraits. After the Portraits are finished, these pages will be updated with new work. Finished work will be exposed in my Gallery of Pet Portraits. Just go and have a look at my complete collection there. Thank you for visiting my Work In Progress Pages and welcome back any time! It is impossible for a scanner or camera to capture the real thing, since there always is a slight change of color due to light effects in the room where the photos were taken... THE REAL DRAWING OR PAINTING WILL LOOK EVEN BETTER!
